1.After Masters in Economics, taught Economics in college for few yrs.
2. After Law degree, engaged in legal practice for few yrs.
3. After Masters in Law joined the Rajshahi University in the Department of Law as Lecturer on 23 May 1989.
4. Promoted as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor of Law accordingly, as per Service Rules of the University and retired on July 2012.
5. Was elected Dean of the Faculty of Law, Rajshahi University on 23 January 1999.
6. Statutorily became Chairman of the Department of Law and Justice, Rajshahi University on 02 October 2005.
7. Discharge the responsibility of the Provost of Syed Ameer Ali Hall, Rajshahi University on 10 May 2003 for 03 (three) years.
8. Worked as one of the members of the Editorial Board of Rajshahi University Studies Journal from 2005 to 2012.
9. Worked as the Treasurer of Rajshahi University Law Association (RULA) for 13 yrs.
10. During my service period of Rajshahi University, I worked as the Dean and Chairman of the Department of Law of Daffodil International University, Dhaka for a short period on lien.
11. On special request of the Hon’ble Chairman of BoT of Green University, on the very day of going on PRL from the University of Rajshahi i.e. on 1 July 2012, I joined as Dean, Faculty of Law of Green University of Bangladesh.
12. After one year, had to join as Dean and Chairman of the Department of Law, Prime University on 01 July 2013.
13. Afterwards joined as Dean of School of Law of Metropolitan University, Sylhet on 25 January 2015 and served there until Covid 19 broke out in 2020 when educational institutions were shut down.
14. Afterwards worked in Khwaja Yunus Ali University, Sirajgonj for some years.
15. Presently working as the Dean of Law Faculty of the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) from 23 April 2025.
16. During my service period of Rajshahi University, used to take part-time classes on Southeast University, Asia Pacific University, BUBT University, UITS (Rajshahi branch), Northern University (Rajshahi branch).
17. Before going on PRL, I used to take classes of ASPs in Sardah Police Academy on courses of M. P. Sc. (Master of Police Science).
18. During my service at Rajshahi University, I worked for many enquiry committees either as the convener or as the member.

2.Attended the workshops several times organised by the UGC for HEQEP Project.
3.Worked as the Panel Expert of UGC for examining the syllabuses of different Public and Private Universities.
4.Still working as the expert of awarding Golden Prizes by the UGC.
